Power 10 for the Quad Fundraising Campaign!

We have achieved our published goal of raising $10,000 toward the $30,000 cost of the brand new 4x and would like to keep the momentum going to support the purchase of the replacement 8 and future needs! There is a WRC guest bartending event in the works with Brandywine Brewing Company in Greenville, DE, for August or September, so keep an eye out for more information on that! We will also have a naming ceremony this fall allowing those who donated to name a shell in the boathouse to honor a loved one or express a fun rowing sentiment! Names are way more fun than numbers.

Please consider donating and any amount is greatly appreciated! Just scan the QR code below or in the boathouse to donate today!

Out of My Skull: Mayhem & Misadventures on Delaware’s Christina River

Thinking about giving rowing a shot as your newest favorite sport? Considering joining the Wilmington Rowing Center? ‘Out of My Skull, Mayhem and Misadventures on
the Christina River in Delaware’ is just what you need to answer your questions about rowing in general and rowing with this club on this river. Published in 2024, it’s the story of a 50-year-old woman looking for the perfect sport and community who landed on the sliding seat of a shell and never left. Her experiences give you a taste for the trials of rowing on the Christina River in Delaware and the camaraderie inherent in the Wilmington Rowing Center.

It can be purchased at Huxley and Hiro bookstore located at 419 N Market St, Wilmington, or from Amazon.com in paperback or eBook format. An audio version is currently in development and will be available on Audible soon.
