Wilmington Rowing Center is for passionate racers and recreational rowers alike. Together we enjoy a spacious boathouse located on Wilmington’s Riverfront with an easy-to-access dock on the Christina River. Our club is a community of dedicated members that are enthusiastic about the sport of rowing.

Unlike many other sports, rowing can be learned at any age and fitness level. Taking an introductory Learn-to-Row class at Wilmington Rowing Center is a great way to get fit, have fun, and enjoy the beauty of the river against the backdrop of the beautiful Wilmington Riverfront.

Become a member of Wilmington Rowing Center and join a group of people in their pursuit of the ultimate team and lifelong sport… rowing. We welcome everyone, both masters and novices. “Learn-to-Row” sessions teach you the basics of rowing and after completion, you can join our recreational and racing groups.

Important News for our Rowers

Since the Coronavirus COVID19 Situation, has moved to Reopening with the 2nd part of Phase Two. We are open for singles thru eights effective September 22, 2020.   Our Open Houses will be on hold right now.  Unfortunately, there will be no Learn to Row sessions in 2020.  We hope to resume them in the Spring of 2021.  Thanks for your patience.  Stay safe.  See the COVID-19 area for more information.
