Together we enjoy a spacious boathouse located on Wilmington’s Riverfront with an easy-to-access dock on the Christina River. Unlike many other sports, rowing can be learned at any age and fitness level. Taking an introductory Learn-to-Row class at Wilmington Rowing Center is a great way to get fit, have fun, and enjoy the beauty of the river against the backdrop of the beautiful Wilmington Riverfront.

Become a member of Wilmington Rowing Center and join a group of people in their pursuit of the ultimate team and lifelong sport… rowing. We welcome everyone, both masters and novices. “Learn-to-Row” sessions teach you the basics of rowing and after completion, you can join our recreational and racing groups.

Since 1984, WRC has been the incubator of the modern era of rowing on the Christina River. We’ve come from humble beginnings to a new, modern boathouse in the Southbridge area after 30 years of sustaining the spirit and vision of our founders. We now need to provide the resources for the next generation of rowers.
