Racing

Wilmington Rowing Center members race at regional, national, and world regattas and are a “perennial powerhouse” at major regattas such as US Rowing Master’s National Championship and the Head of the Charles Regatta.  We race all US Rowing masters classifications and our racers range in age from their mid-20s to their mid-80s.

WRC’s competitive team is made up of members with diverse rowing and racing backgrounds.  Some began rowing in high school, some in college, while others first started rowing at WRC through its Learn-to-Row program.  Our competitive team includes men’s masters sweep, women’s masters sweep, and men’s and women’s sculling.

For racing related inquiries, please contact our Racing Chair Karen Walsh.
